I have read a lot about the replacement of PT Cruiser motor mounts and it seems that the mounts themselves go for about $30 - $40. I saw that replacing all four (4) of them cost someone $420. It also seems that Chrysler has built in "planned obsolescence" into some of the parts to their cars meaning they are very aware that some parts wear out much sooner than they "should" but they intentionally let the situation remain as is and profit from the sales and servicing for the replacement of parts that wear out early. I was a Mopar guy since 1975, but not now. I have had 60 or so vehicles in my life (yes, I love cars) and close to half have been Chrysler vehicles. However with the higher cost to maintain than my Toyota Corollas, I guess I am turning into a Toyota guy now.
It will cost approximately $400 to replace the motor mounts on your Honda Accord. The motor mounts will cost approximately $100, the rest of the cost will be labor.
You don't. You have to buy new ones there is no fixing a motor mount.
How much should it cost to replace engine mounts on a 1997 audia4 quattro
How much does it cost to replace a 2004 nissan maxima transmission and motor mounts
About $12 a piece (accents have four engine mounts) plus labor.
You might want to check your motor mounts. If it is the motor mounts you just have to jack the motor up a little not to much and change the mounts out. Its easier to do on a lift though.
