You should check with the airlines. I travel with my small dog in coach. You have to have a veterinarian examine the dog and give you a health certificate. Dog must be up on all shots. This certificate must be shown upon you checking in and getting your boarding pass. You, at this time purchase a ticket for your pet. American Airlines charges 100.00 each way. It cost the same for large dogs flying with cargo. Each airlines has it's own pet policy. Check with the one that you are ticketed with.
