About $20 for a normal slider turtle. Up to $200 max for a high quality, rare turtle (these are my estimates and are by no means set in stone). However, something that is commonly overlooked is how much the care is. When you see a price tag reading $20 at the pet store, the animal is not $20. For proper care with no corners cut (as care should be), expect to pay a solid $450.00. With an extra $50 -$80 each year for a new UVB Mercury vapor light bulb (annually regardless of if the bulb went out or not). Not to mention food and water and filter changes for the next 30 years of your life. Turtles, or any pet for that matter, are huge responsibilities.
Unless you own a zoo, you shouldn't and can't buy a sea turtle... but lets say you did a sea turtle would cost tent housadn dollars or more, it depends where your buying from. :) hopefully this helps!
