I did not find the cost, but I would imagine very expensive. Xenon is rare (about 0.087 parts per million in the atmosphere). A pound would be a very large quantity, since it is a gas. Based on its atomic weight of 131.29 grams per mole, then 1 pound is about 3.45 moles, or about 77.5 liters (about 20.5 US gallons) at standard temperature and pressure.
