Are the angles of a quadrangle equal?

yes because if is a equilateral triangle all the sides is equal but a quadrangle not so much

How much equal angles does an equilateral triangle?

There are three measurable angles within a triangle, and within a equilateral triangle there are thee equal angles, each measuring 60o .

Why is it impossible for an equilateral triangle to be scalene?

The definition of an equilateral triangle is one whose sides all have the same length. The definition of a scalene triangle is one in which no two sides have the same length.Seems like their definitions pretty much rule out a case where the same triangle is both.

What will be the perimeter of an equilateral triangle inscribed in a circle of area154 sq.cm?

The formula for area of a circle is Area=pi*radius2 you know the area of your circle so now find the radius. 154 = pi*r2 r = 7 cm if you can imagine the equilateral triangle in the circle imagine that the radius touches the exact center of this triangle and can extend to one of the three points on the triangle. (this next part would be so much easier if i could draw you a picture). now, if you remember that an equilateral triangle has three angles that each measure up to 60 degrees. if you take the radius of the circle and draw a line from the center of the triangle to the tip of the triangle you will actually cut on of the 60 degree angles in half. this would now make you have an angle 30 degrees. if you do this same thing to another point you will notice you actually have another triangle inside this triangle. since all triangle angles add up to 180 degrees you know all three angles of this new triangle. (note: this new triangle is not an equilateral triangle). so this new triangle has an angle 30 degrees, 30 degrees, and 120 degrees. you can now use the law of sines to find out the length of one side of the equilateral triangle. if you have drawn your picture correctly then you will see that one side of the new triangle actually shares one side of the equilateral triangle. if you look at your new triangle their is only one side that is known a known quantity. this side is the side that is shared with the equilateral triangle. use the law of sines to figure out the length of this side... 7 / sin(30) = x / sin(120) x = 12.12cm you now know that one side of the equlateral triangle is 12.12cm. since there is three sides to the triangle the total perimeter of the equilateral triange is 12.12 times 3 your answer for the perimeter of the equilateral triangle is 36.36cm

How much rotational symmetry does triangle have?

It depends on the type of triangle. A scalene triangle (no equal sides) has no rotational symmetry. An isosceles triangle (2 equal sides) has rotational symmetry order 2. An equilateral triangle (3 equal sides) has rotational symmetry order 3. The order of rotational symmetry is how many time a shape will fit over itself during one complete rotation.

How much should all sides of a triangle equal up to?

There are four types of triangles. For an "equilateral triangle", all sides and angles have to be the same. For an "isosceles triangle", 2 of 3 sides and angles have to be the same. For a "scalene triangle", the "the same" rules don't apply. For a "right-angled triangle", one corner has to be a right angle (90 degrees.) For example in an equilateral triangle, as long as the sides are the same, they can add up to anything. However, angles are different. In any given triangle, the angles must add up to 180 degrees.

What is the ratio of the length of a side of an equilateral triangle to its perimeter?

Length of a side of an equilateral triangle : Perimeter = 1 : 3 For example, if the length of the sides of an equilateral triangle were 5cm each, then perimeter would be three times that much - 15cm. 5 : 15 is the same as 1 : 3 when simplified. How much degrees is there in an equilateral triangle?

Every triangle has three angles that total 180o. In an equilateral triangle, there are three 60o angles.

A square and an equilateral triangle each have a perimeter of 72 cm. How much longer is one side of the triangle than one side of the square?

You see you can do is 72cm divide by 3 because an equilateral triangle has 3 sides 72cm/3 = 24cm (I am not sure if this is right)

How much does an equilateral triangle add up to?

180 i think

Another name for a regular triangle?

A regular triangle is an equilateral triangle. It can also be be called equiangular but that term is not used much.

How much does a triangle mesure?

180 degrees. An equilateral triangle measures 60 degrees at every angle.
