if its a 1a model freelander its about 175 sterling. a 2a model can set you back about 300. check out famous four website. im lookin for one myself. good luck. i just checked out autopost ltd in london. they have a new driveshaft for 132 euro
2.6 tonnes
6.8 Llt
depends if good mpg and a good town vehicle is what you are looking for you are better off with the freelander but if you want an excellent offroader and a lot of space you should get the discovery in my opinion the discovery is much better than a freelander the only problem with the discovery is the big v8 under be bonnet it does around 12 mpg
4 to 6 hundred dollars
Contact whomever sells insurance in your area they should be able to answer this for you.

Either the exhaust pipe is hanging down and needs to be held up and away from your driveshaft, or the driveshaft is bent and is bowed (probably from traveling fast in 4 wheel drive, putting to much strain on it). which is going to cause it to swing wider and into your exhaust pipe.
Well, if it is a front driveshaft, the issue is a CV joint and you'll have to remove the driveshaft and take it in to be rebuilt. Taht will run you $150 or more. If it is a rear driveshaft, it will be cheaper if you remove the driveshaft and take it to a driveline shop where they can press in a new u-joint.....I'd recommend you replace both. A guess? $60 to $80
If you're talking about the length of the driveshaft, the front yoke should go into the transmission all but 1 inch.
aproxamently 1200 $
should be a 50/50 mix that's what ive always done
yes, you can but you cant run too much boost unless you lower the compression ratio. Also a dyno tune to recallibrate the injector pump should also be done to fully setup the air fuel ratios.
