Can you use petrol as a fuel in rocket engine?

Rocket fuel contains oxygen, which is not found in space. A rocket in space could theoretically work in space if it were to carry its own oxygen, but other fuels such as hydrogen are more efficient.

How much rocket fuel is needed to send a rocket into space?

It depends upon the weight of the total vehicle and the payload combined (including the fuel, which needs to be carried upward too). For more information, see the link below the ads.
