As a rough estimate of this coins value, assuming the coin in poor condition, it would be valued at around $8. One in perfect or mint condition can be worth as much as $285.

Well there is 28.375 grams in an ounce so you have a little less then a quarter of an ounce. An ounce goes for about $1800.00 these days so you have somewhere in the $400.00 range
Columbus hadn't even landed in the New World in 1470, so there would not be a United States or Canada to issue quarters 540 years ago.
it is worth about 50 dollars
A denomination is needed, post new question.
As of 09/2008 a 1925-S Peace dollar is worth $15 to $23 depending on how much wear it has.
It is worth it's silver content so it would be worth about $2.50 to $3. (As of 10/7/11)
Your 1925 Liberty coin is actually a 1925 PEACE dollar, this series of "silver dollars" were made from 1921 to 1928 & 1934 to 1935. The 1925 date is very common and assuming the coin is circulated and has no "S" mintmark retail values are $16.00-$20.00
Check your date or denomination. Starting in 1932, quarters had George Washington on them.
It is worth 25 cents, or one quarter of one dollar. 1966 is not old enough for the coin to have gotten valuable.
QUARTER, not "quater" - just like it's spelled on the back of the coin. Not Liberty Head, either. The last Liberty Head quarters were made in 1916.Please check again and post a new question.

25 cents. It's normally called a Washington quarter. Check your pocket change - ALL American coins carry the word Liberty so that's not anything special.
