The decimal New Half Penny and Half Penny coins were last issued for circulation in 1983 and were withdrawn from circulation and demonetised in December 1984. So, unless they are part of a Proof or Uncirculated mint set or are individual Proof or Uncirculated coins and in absolute mint condition, they have little or no value.

British predecimal Halfpennies have been minted for nearly 1,000 years. The average coin catalogue has pages and pages of entries for them. Please be a little more specific and specify a particular year.

A British Henry V silver Halfpenny (1413-1422)(depending on condition and variant), circulated but still in good condition, might fetch anything from $25 to $575 AUD.

The values quoted are the best possible for the best specimens in their grades, but may be significantly lower due to varying demand for the coin and the prevailing economic climate. A reputable coin dealer will be able to give a more accurate valuation based on inspection of the coin.

Much like the question "How much is an old coin worth?", one needs more specifics. What country is it from? Is stamp new or used? In what condition? How is centering? Any unusual printing flaws? Can you identify the year of the revenue stamp? With some exceptions, the likelihood is that the value of the stamp will not be substantial.

Consult a postage stamp catalog, you can often find them in your local library and some are available on line.

In average circulated condition, values on this coin range from about a dollar to $35 (if there are no scratches, and really nice details remaining) - and if it's uncirculated, it can catalog for up to $150.

Depends what year, and the condition. If you are talking about a half NEW penny stamp, that's unused, then it's worth just that. Half a new penny.

There's no such coin. Britain uses pounds and pence, not dollars.

Please check your coin again and post a new question with the denomination and country of origin.

1/480th of a pound. This was before the current decimal divisions of the pound. Since then, a half-penny (ha'penny) is not a valid coin.
