Almost impossible to value a firearm with only the serial number.
It would be 45 years old, made in 1966.
I just bought a 1918 model (by serial number) in shootable condition, in 32 cal. I paid $225 if that helps....................
True 1847 Walkers highest is 1340, if you include the 1st 2nd and 3rd model Dragoons and modern production up to 1978 the highest number is 24502

There is no difference , there was a 45 short colt cartridge made for just a short time back in the early1900's but it quickly went away , however the name " Long Colt " just stuck .
