There is a technical service bulletin for this problem. It's either the PCM (powertrain control module) or the Idle Air Control Valve
The complete module has to be replaced. This is a dealer item priced at approximately $300 to $400
Depends on which computer you are referring to. You have a climate control module, power-train control module, etc.

I just brought my Lincoln LS to the dealer. I'm being charged $900.00 plus labor. This is going to be an $1,100.00 repair! Dealers these days seem to put a minimum charge of at least $1,000.00 to every car that comes into their shop.
about $900 and 2 hours of labor.
"It can cost a significant amount to light a landmark. Of course, this cost depends a lot on the size and type of the landmark, you can imagine that lighting the presidential busts at Mt. Rushmore is significantly more expensive than lighting the Lincoln memorial."
the module??? If it is the PCM "powertrain control module" you are looking for which in a '91 will pretty much contoll everything on the truck will be located behind the glovebox slighly toward the passenger side of the opening. The glovebox will need to be removed and you are looking for a silver box.
They vary in price depending on year and make of caravan..... generally from 300 to 600 dollars.
Are you asking where it is or what it looks like. Please clarify. where it is Okee dokee. I have a 94 Explorer and the control module is in the rear of the car, when you open the hatch look for a removable panel on the left side. When you open up that panel you will see the washer bottle if you have a rear washer wiper and the 4wd control module. I'm thinking maybe they're all pretty much the same, but when in doubt just call up your local Ford dealer and ask.
they have a little amount of space inside of a module
