I have a large Wijmer sofa size print (original gold frame included 30" x 66"). It has a gold printed plate on the bottom of the print, with the name of the print (High Glory) and the name of the artist (Wijmer).
In doing research on another Wijmer print I owned (The Red Caboose) by the same manufacturer three years ago, I learned the manufacturers were a home group in the late 50's-60's. (sorry, I tried to remove it from the wall now, but could not remove, for this ANSWER.) My other Wijmer print The Red Caboose was large and beautiful, and lost in a fire. It was a print many wanted to buy but could not find. I learned little is known about Wijmer or these beautiful prints (many landscapes). But based on the size of the print, and the fact that it was hard to find (but not RARE), opinions concluded these large over-sized prints (in excellent condition) are valued about $250 retail prices. (There are various smaller sizes of the same print.)
Best wishes to you. Hope this helps.
Reproductions of the painting High Glory by Wijmer are quite common. On average they sell for between $20 to $40 depending on the conditions of painting itself and the condition of the frame.
some may be worth a lot more, but it seems that bigeye art is scoffed at by art dealers. Ive seen Maios from !2.00 to 40.00. They should be worth much more according to me and a lot of other people
a print or a painting? a print, being mass produced it worth the canvas it is printed on. companies like bradford exchange will mass produce a painting and sell it to you as a collection item. which does infact look good in your house. but don't hold your breath for a high resell price. a painting that is hand signed it worth upwards of 1000$ depend on size condition and year. it could possibly be worth even $10,000
The thing is you say you have an original. No, you do not. You have a print. The original painting is in the Paris Musée d'Orsay. It is over 4 ft high and nearly 6 ft wide and cannot be bought. It was sold for $78.1 million in 1990. A print like yours can be bought on the Internet for a few dollars.
For a high quality print (300 ppi) you should be able to print 8x10 without enlarging and about 9x12 with enlarging (using an image editor to increase the pixel size about 10% to 20%). For a low quality print you can double those sizes (150 ppi).

Gold would motivate me to go exploring since it is a precious mineral with high worth.

The largest print you can order from Walmart Photo Studio is a 24 x 36 canvas print. Walmart recommends you only print this large if you have a high resolution photo.
