About anything you want to pay. Most guys will be sitting in your car ready to go before you even mention what you are doing let alone for how much. I asked a guy I used a couple of times about the life of a laborer, and they are basically glad to get get any work at all. I personally pay very well. For short jobs, about $20 an hour of the guy tries and can communicate. But I have a bad back and really appreciate the help. Besides, they are humans, they need to eat too. But if I need more labor for longer about $15 makes sense to me. I live on Los Angeles, I have found the guys to all be decent people.
