Price-wise? Depends on the mini and the seller. If it is a high-quality show mini, they can sell for a couple thousand dollars at least. But a mini that is just selling as a pet, maybe a cart-puller, could sell for a couple hundred.

well a first pony type would probably be about £2000 and then it can range from cheap to many many £££££ for livery depending on circumstances. a competition pony type would be about £7000-£25000

It all depends. Some are very cheap. I bought one for $45. And some are very expensive, like show ponies.There are also different breeds and skills of the pony so if you were looking for a pure breed shetland for example they would be $3000+ but if you were looking for a cross breed riding pony they would cost $300+ My first pony was a cross breed and was really gentle, he had to get sold because i was too big for him, but was good at showing so we sold him for $2500.

It really does depend on the seller, I have seen good little ponies go for as little as £100, (I am english so Americans I cannot help really) Some breeders or sellers may rip you off or charge very little as there are faults in the pony. You must bring along someone experienced when going to visit the pony to check it out.
