How much will the play station 4 cost?

We do not know how much the PS4 will cost when it arrives. The cost of it will depend on how powerful the hardware it uses is. I expect it will most likely cost about the same as the PS3 did when it first came out.

It was just announced today February 20 2013 6 PM EST and is not available for sale at any price. A List price will become available after Sony decides how big of loss they are willing to take on the first models. The PS3 was sold at $600 when it's production cost was $850. They are currently polling with a $300 and $600 price choices and also an $800 choice. Release is scheduled for the 2013 holiday season and rumored to be only for the USA and Japanese markets. The PS4 is not expected to have a worldwide release until mid 2014. Sony has yet to offer any indication of the PS4 price tag with those eager to snap up the device expected to have to wait until E3 2013 June for more details and advance sales

Amazon has many of the new games available for preorder at $59.96 and 3 cents less that suggested retail. Like all Video Games prices at numerous locations are often below suggested retail soon after the games are released and the PS4 games are expected to be the same
