- I just received my ticket for talking on the phone while driving and it was for $124!
- I just got one in San Francisco on 3-11-09, now they want $132.00 PLUS a $6.00 convenience fee to pay on line. I'm going to have to fight it just to buy time. This is ridiculous when the state fine is only $20 for the first offense.
- Just got one in Los Angeles for $142 plus a $10 e-convenience fee. Curious... has anyone successfully fought or reduced these tickets?
- The current cost of violation is $167 for talking on the phone in Westminster, Orange County. I just paid mine on 4/16/10. There is not first offense. The Judge as soon as you have a phone on your hand is considered talking on the phone.

I got one in CA (Orange County) and it was $149. Just pay it out.
