(2)(d): For a Class D felony, not less than one (1) year nor more than five (5) years.

∙ 13y agoIt's very hard to answer without the particulars of the case. It sounds like second degree murder or reckless manslaughter. If this is the case the guilty could get 10 to 25 years depending on the state in which the crime occured.
