It varys quite a bit. Most groomers work on commission. Usually 50%-60% of the price of services. Prices in my area are in the $40-$45 range for a small breed and can go up to over $100 for large breeds. The more dogs you can do the more money you can make. Around 8 dogs a day is about the average for a good skilled groomer working alone. If they have a helper to do the bathing/drying naturally they can do more. If you are a shop owner and do the grooming yourself then you keep all sales minus the overhead. With experience you could make $35-45K+ a year if you are working on commission and are busy. Alot more if you owned your own shop but I imagine the overhead might equal everything out a bit:)
