There is no name for generic Suboxone bacause there are no available generic brands for it yet in Canada or the USA. I hear they're working on some in Australia where the drug was first released but no info on anything in reach. Hope this was helpful, Suboxone is very expensive but it works wonders. Much better than Methadone but Methadone is a much cheaper option, only $6 a day in comparison to Suboxone which is anywhere from $20- $30 depending on where it is dispensed from.

I am on Suboxone and last autumn I had a root canal, and the oral surgeon prescribed Vicodin for me, but I had to take double doses of it to get enough relief from the pain. I also had to cut my Suboxone dose in half (I was taking 8-mgs per day and cut it down to 4). Whatever you do, don't stop taking the Suboxone completely, because if you completely stop taking it you will have to wait until you're in extreme withdrawal from the Vicodin before you start taking Suboxone again. If you stop taking the Suboxone, and then start taking it again before you're in heavy withdrawal from the Vicodin, you will experience the worst, most horrible withdrawal symptoms you can imagine. You will get really, really sick.
