sr20det, sr20de, sr20vet,ca18,rb20,rb25,rb26,vq,ls1,2jzgett, pretty much if you can dream it the 240 can do it.
different motors have been swapped into 240s. SR20DET and RB26 or RB25 motors are also a popular swap. Depending on how much you want to spend almost anything is possible. LS1's from corvettes, or 2jz-gte from the Supra are all possible but require a ton of money to make it work properly.
I have a 1996 f250 with a 5.8 engine. i was wondering if anyone knows how much power a 2001 f250 with a 5.4 egine makes
Mid to high 70's
The vq makes about 50 Horsepower more while being naturally aspirated. The VQ is much faster, there is no doubt about it.
Combustion engines make power by burning fuel. Much of that energy is lost to heat.
A supercharger is just basically a big air pump, so it pushes more air into the engine. When your engine gets more air, it can make much more power. That's the simple explanation anyway :D
when you put too much oil: engine will lose much power oil push out and make damage your catalic converter
It has 50 horse power.
