Your weight has nothing to do with your period. Your period happens because you started puberty and your cycle started. Don't worry about your weight, your period will happen no matter what you weigh.

∙ 13y agoSome girls hardly notice it and some girls even pass out of pain. Also the volume of blood lost during a period differs per girl. Some lose not more than a teaspoon full, others lose 60 ml. Excessive bleeding can be caused by hormonal disturbance. If the excessive bleeding comes in sudden flows, there could be a problem and a doctor should be consulted.
Some girls experience migraine, change in sex drive, tiredness, sentimental/ weepy emotions, moodswings, nausea.
But again, some girls feel almost nothing.
