i saw on another question it said 1 pound feeds about 4 people assuming the pasta is the main course. so for 30 people, to be safe, i would buy/use 8 pounds of pasta. maybe 7 if you know some people don't eat a lot
It depends on the kind of pasta. It's easiest to measure by weight. Look on a box of pasta and it will tell you average serving size. I think it's always better to have some extra so I always make more since I hate running out of food when I'm feeding people.
You will need approximately four pounds of spaghetti in order to feed 30 people. This would be enough for just one serving size per person.
ABOUT FIFTEEN POUNDS. ALSO DEPENDS ON WHAT KIND OF DISH YOU ARE TRYING TO MAKE.
The normal serving is considered to be 4 to 6 ounces. 12 pounds should feed 30 people. And leave you with a bit left over if they aren't too hungry!
It depends what else they are having, but I would make at least 10-12 pounds cooked pasta.
About 8 pounds of uncooked pasta.
23 Pounds
40
Define which pasta. All are different.
A good amount of pasta salad for 40 people would be 5 pounds total... just had a party for 40 people and that's what we had, and there was just a bit left over
how many pounds of menudo to feed 10 people.
Allow about a half pound per person. That means you would need about 25 pounds to feed 50 people.
I would make about 75-80 pounds
depending on how much people eat you would need about 10-12 boxes of pasta to satisfy your members. That will be enough for 200 people.
1 cup= around 8 ounces.8 ounces= 1/2 a pound.4cupsx8ounces= 32 ounces32 ounces= 2 pounds
That is 37.5 pounds.
