You will need to remove the tire and wheel from your 1998 Pontiac Grand Am. Remove the brake assembly spring from the brake pads. The brake pads will come off. Reverse the process to install the new brake pads.
Remove the plastic piece under the steering wheel... it is hidden in there. The one behind the radio is for hazards
Remove the tire and wheel from your 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix. Remove the spring from the brake shoe. Remove the brake shoes. Reverse the process to install the new brakes.
yes...
The front wheel bearings, of a Pontiac vibe, can be replaced by first removing the front wheel. Next, remove the axle end cap. Remove the bearing and reverse the process to install the new bearing.
no their not front wheel drive you must be thinking of a Pontiac grand am or a grand prix
You can't replace just the wheel bearings. You have to replace the whole hub assembly. Costs about 200 bucks per wheel at a repair shop. I have had both of mine replaced.

Only one way, remove the head and replace it. This is a major repair that should only be done by and expert.
Remove wheel, remove the two bolts in the calipers, pull up calipers, remove pads compress caliper piston with a c-clamp, be sure to have the brake fluid cap off the reservoir under the hood. - replace pads and reverse the order.
The Pontiac grand prix became front wheel drive in 1988-present. Before '88 it was rear wheel drive.
