I am not sure but I think 10 nm newton meters is five kilo force on the end of a twenty cm long wrench , or mid handle on a twenty five cm long wrench ,five kilos could be easy hand tight, not very hard at least.
25 nm newton meters, that is about twelve kilos on a twenty cm wrench, fifty nm is twenty five kg on a twenty cm wrench, .that is medium force maybe from a hand and shoulder.
fifty nm is five kg on one meter wrench, ten nm is one kg on one meter long wrench or bar or stick, that is rather hard tightening .
one newton is hundred grams or so, ten newton is one kg circa,
I may be wrong , im not good in math and memory.
I wrote this article. lafter helmetson
there is no torque on the oil filter!! when putting back on tighten the filter hand tight as much as you can.
hand tight
There is probably no spec-they are supposed to be hand tight only.
hand tight and 1/6 turn
The plugs are to be tightened to 13 lb-ft. which is just hand tight with a short ratchet. Don't over tighten them! The threads in the aluminum heads have enough problems as it is.
Torque is not the type of bolt but a type of wrench used to tighten bolts. A torque wrench will tell you how tight a bolt is tightened like 60lb of torque or tighten to 80lb of torque so a bolt will be tight enough to stay in but not too tight that you strip the bolt.
Tight is tight... get it snug, roll with it.
Install to just about hand tight. 1st torque in a star pattern at 132 inch pds or 11 ft pds 2nd and final torque in a star pattern in 264 in pds or 22 ft pds. That is it!
the torque is F.T. [f***ing tight] onset
you torque the bolts until they are good and tight
Wrench tight
Snug tight for direct tension indicators means tight but not binding. It would be like tightening something with the hand as much as a person can without a wrench.
