It depends on the climate in which you live (i.e. how hot it is in your house) as to how often your refrigerator kicks on. Its actually really hard to keep track of. If you buy a "Kill A Watt" meter, you can plug your fridge into it and it will tell you how many watts the fridge has actually used in a day. It probably only runs a few hours total each day!
