How much would braces cost through a dental school?
6 MILLION dollars...
No, braces don't have to be removed before a dental cleaning; otherwise, that would be a pain!
This would be an entrance question to dental school or for an employment opportunity. An answer would be, I have always enjoyed working with people. Oral health is important and has always interested me. Or, ever since I had braces, I realize how a dentist can change someone's life for the better.
I would say (if you personally asked me) that animals do not need braces. Why? Because animals mouths are oddly shaped so putting braces in would be very tough. Another thing is, nature basically gives the animals perfect mouths from day one. So giving braces to animals is not really needed. But that does not mean animals don't need dental care. In fact without dental care an animals mouth would be so painful it might… Read More
That would depend upon the terms of the policy, but probably not. Most dental insurance does not cover orthodontics, and if it does, it probably wouldn't include Invisalign. That's mostly considered to be a cosmetic choice in appliances. Your policy may cover a portion of what regular braces would cost, and you would pay the difference out of pocket.
You could look into either dental insurance or a discount dental plan. I recently enrolled with Ameriplan in their discount dental plan because my daughter needs braces. You can find information about their plans at http://www.mybenefitsplus.com/cheims and also locate providers in your area. Many of the dental providers also have a fee schedule posted so you would know the original cost and your savings with Ameriplan.
If you mean similar to braces or Invisalign, you can dive with them on. I dive with them, and they don't cause a problem at all. If you mean other dental bridges, I'm not sure, you would have to ask your dentist.
Does your insurance pay for braces if you have a root canal or can you even get braces with a root canal?
Yes, you can get braces if you have a root canal. And I wouldn't think it would make a difference to an insurance company either. Not sure if your question is about costs. Two major procedures like a root canal and braces would probably exhaust annual maximums of most dental insurances. You would be well advised to get a supplemental plan for major dental work like root canal. addendum: there is usually a lifetime max… Read More
Not at the very moment your dentist is attaching the braces to your teeth... it becomes uncomfortable afterward about a day after when your lips are getting used to your braces. You would usually get mouth blisters and cuts. Your dentist should give you some pain relief pill to help you with this.
To become a dental hygienist you attend a dental hygiene program offered at a college. Some schools have a pre-dental hygiene program where you would complete both pre-requisites and the actual program at the same school. Some dental schools also have dental hygiene programs as well.
After college you go to a dental medical school.
Completed the Dental Assitant program at <insert school name> on <grad date>
each dental school has their own prerequisites. so you would have to go to search out each school's website individually that youre interested in. or you could call or email someone from the admissions department at the school.
Not required for college, however college physics required for Dental school. Thus, I would recommend you take it as an introduction to the college courses you will be required to take.
There are some colleges that offer dental classes, but only because those classes are related to actual dental schools. Normally you would just have to major in a science such as biology, chemistry, or psychology and then just take all the required dental examinations, and just hope for the best and get into a dental school. YOU DO NOT, AND I REPEAT, DO NOT HAVE TO DO PRE-MED TO GET INTO DENTAL SCHOOL!!
Dental insurance would possibly cover a part of braces. Dental insurance sold on a group basis has different plans and only the most costly plan covers orthondonture and even then it only covers a portion of it with a dollar amount cap of $1000-$2000 depending on the plan itself. I don't know of any individual dental plan that covers braces. As a matter of full disclosure, I own and operate a smalltown Independent Insurance Agency… Read More
I'd say you would have to be at least fourteen years old (if you are just helping out at the dentist office) but, you would have to go to dental school if you want to be a real dentist!
You can usually expect to pay less for a root canal at a dental school than you would pay at a dental office.
Assuming that you're referring to a high school diploma, yes you do need one to become a dental assistant. How would you feel to have someone in control of your mouth who didn't graduate high school.
well from my understanding being a pre-dental student myself, is probably possible but you might lower your chances of getting into dental school. Most pre-dental students usually complete a bachelors degree. And since dental school is becoming more and more competitive, it would be wise to try and finish undergraduate studies with a B.A or B.S. Take something that intrigues you so you know you will put effort in the courses and get A's. Besides… Read More
Well many years ago people, didnt have access, to the dental services we have today. So people, always had the dilemma that their teeth would be brooked or unhygenic, or something else.
no most states have less than 1yr program
I would think that you could probably have a degree in any major because it is good to try out a lot of different career paths when you are working towards your bachelors degree. All dental schools have some required classes that you have to take before you go into dental school. You need to check into the individual requirements for the dental schools that you are interested in attending.
If you have an Overbite or an underbite you would be qualifeid to get braces
Dental equipment can be marketed over the internet in many ways. It can be marketed through banners on various websites, or it can be marketed through social media sites such as Facebook. A more "old fashioned" way to market dental equipment over the internet would be through the yellow pages website.
If you are addressing orthodontic braces, typically it does not; you would need to rely upon dental insurance. At that, much dental insurance pays only a portion of the cost of braces (half is typical). While the coverage and exclusions of the medical/health insurance policy control, there may be a valid argument that can be made for coverage of braces if they are necessitated by an otherwise covered occurrence, such as an auto collision. That… Read More
What would be a good illustration example support sentence for the steps that a dental assistant goes through to obtain a degree?
What would be a good illustration example support sentence for the steps that a dental assistant goes through to obtain a degree? this would be a sentence because it is basically you just use the question as a sentence i think
To become a family dentist one would be wise to start in high school by taking all the biology, chemistry, physics, health and mathematics courses available. After high school then one genuinely completes eight years of college and dental school studies to obtain a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) Additional tests are then required to obtain state licenses.
No, the orthodontist will NOT, and i repeat NOT give you braces if you don't need them. besides, why would you want braces?
itdon't matter if u have braces or no i wish i had braces sometimes
Because i am intelligent, hardworking, multitasker, compassionate and would do everything to be a successful doctor.
I would say yellow braces.
you would do the same thing just like you didnt have braces on.
You should always talk to your dentist first about what you shouldn't do while undergoing the treatment. Dental braces can cause mild pains or discomfort as the procedure will re-shape the structure of your teeth, straightening them with pure force. As such you might lose a little sleep at night the first few days and whenever you have them tightened. One would also not recommend eating popcorm, general sweets and candies or bubblegum. Drinking soda… Read More

Braces are for teeth that are crooked and at some orthodontics you can personalize them. Ask me any questions about braces if you would like!!!! Visit costofbraces.com.au
Why would you want braces?
It possible to do that. You would start over as far as fitting, etc. and you would have to pay to have the braces removed. But it depends on the specific issues with your mouth as to whether invisalign or traditional braces are better. If you have issues with your bite, you may have to keep braces.
How the teeth are aligned in relation to the jaw is one cause of teeth being on edge. Another cause can be stress. Dental braces is one way to stop it. Another way would be to relax the jaw.
You would have to study extremely very hard all through school and in college and stay focused on school all through your life.
Demi doesn't have any braces and never would cause she is to pretty.
I would think so. I play clarinet with braces, and other people can play trumpet, trombone and stuff with braces.
Both are fine career choices. You should go into whichever field you feel would make you happy.
Some people would say excellent but others may be less complimentary - "how good" is subjective.
Dental schools require a minimum of 2 years of college-level pre-dental education prior to admittance. Most dental students have at least a bachelor's degree before entering dental school, although a few applicants are accepted to dental school after 2 or 3 years of college and complete their bachelor's degree while attending dental school. Dental school usually lasts 4 academic years. Studies begin with classroom instruction and laboratory work in science, including anatomy, microbiology, biochemistry, and… Read More
I recently got braces and my doc asked what color I would like as soon as she was done but I chose to have no color.
You don't. Removing the brackets alone can cause severe damage, and the bands on the molars require precise dental tools. The glue that holds the brackets on is also near impossible to remove without a dental drill. Trust me, it's a terrible idea. Just leave them alone. Of course, I believe you're asking about removing cement residue after your braces have come off, in which case there are a few options. You can scrape at… Read More
The dental laboratory is located in a separate area of the dental office(away from the patient treatment area).
yes because the braces would straigten your teeth still
If your braces are hurting or rubbing it would be sensible to put vegetable wax or vaseline on them.
If you think about how much normal braces cost ( top and bottom) around £2500 or $3000 if you pay for them and the metal braces are probably cheap braces. You would also have to go to a specilist orthodontist.
