If we take a 2013 Lamborghini Aventador which retails for about $400,000 and multiply hat by the DMV VLF (vehicle license fee) multiplier which is 0.65%, we come up with a VLF of $2,600. To that fee, there's an additional $100 or so that is added for other fees, such as smog abatement, county and district, and registration fees. So, you're looking at a total of about $2,700 or $225/month just to be able to drive the Lambo on city streets!
