Dogs only need to be bathed about once a month unless there are other conditions that call for another bath. Some dogs can go for much longer without needing to be bathed. Cocker Spaniels can have more issues with their skin and coat; more frequent bathing may be needed for the cocker spaniel than with the pit bull.
