I have the common frogs which are only a centimetre long as theyre froglets still. They find it difficult to eat large insects and can only eat things that can fit between their eyes. Ive been feeding mine aphids and spring/summer is the time to find them. If you find a maple leaf and turn it over, the leaf should have some aphids on it. :) good luck!
frogs and baby fish
every 4 hours if baby is young
Not necessarily. However, whilst almost all species of frogs feed on insects, different species are often in close proximity to larger prey. For example, green tree frogs have been known to feed on small birds and bats, as they often share tree space with them. On the other hand, the ground-dwelling ornate horned frog of Argentina will happily consume a mouse. Frogs which spend more time in water will feed on tiny fish and even turtles.
A group of baby frogs are called "tadpools". A baby frog is called a "Tadpole".
small fish,earth worms,tad poles,baby frogs,berries,small flies,and cherry tomatoes
My instinct is yes it is. Frogs and turtles often carry the salmonella virus and that could kill a baby, so to be safe I wouldn't let a baby play with either.
No. Frogs feed primarily on invertebrates such as insects.
yes you can i recently caught some baby frogs and some baby toads and im gunna feeed them fish food
Baby frogs drink water, either by absorbing it through their skin or by swallowing it. They often acquire moisture through their environment, such as by living in damp areas or near water sources.
when there very little bullfrogs might if they can fit it in there mouth and it moves they will. But most frogs will not eat a baby turtle. I have bullfrogs and some tiny painted turtles and it has been ok so far. But i hand feed my frogs so they are well fed!!!
