You can cut it until you see the blood vessel. Don't cut it past the blood vessel. It's the pink portion of the nail. It hurts the rabbit's paw a lot. You can cut the nail with a specially made small animal nail clippers. See the related question below for details about how to clip a rabbit's nails.
a very long time, sometimes if they don't have any room to run around they might not grow back at all.
you simply hold each leg upward with you special turtle clippers in hand. You then cut each nail and, you must make sure not to cut too short. If the nails bleed from short cutting, put turtle in water!
Yes, a chickens nails can be filed or cut.
Pet rabbits (not wild rabbits) have long nails because they aren't exposed to difficult conditions to live in and don't run (hop) or exercise much. Whilst wild rabbits must fend for themselves in the wild and do an awful lot of running (hopping) which keeps their nails trimmed. Which is why it is important to cut your rabbits nails when they get too long. To simply cut their nails, you must hold your rabbit so it doesn't struggle and very carefully with small clippers or pliers, cut a little bit away each time, but don't cut too far because you will hurt your rabbit and bleeding may occurr.
It is HIGHLY RECCOMENDED that you take your guinea pig(s) to the vet to get their nails cut so they are cut proparly. if you try to cut their nails you may cut them to short to where that will cause them GREAT pain, even to the point where they may bleed. TAKE THEM TO THE VET SO NO HARM IS DONE. sak :)
Hello Get some good quality animal nail clippers. Get your rabbit and lay it on its back in your arms. Have a second person to clip the nails, or you can do it if the other person holds the rabbit. You need to clip them avoiding the quick of the nail. Depending on the colour of the rabbits nails this will be quite easy to see. Be careful not to cut the quick as this could cause pain and some bleeding. If you're afraid of hurting him (i would be), take him to the vet and they can do it for you.
Trim rabbit nails no more than you would your own.
I am not knowledgeable enough to say if it is haram or makrooh, but the sunnah is to cut your nails short.
No. You will have to take your guinea-pig to the vet every once in a while to get their nails cut by an expert.
You can either cut them short or leave them somewhat long

Yes, a chickens nails can be filed or cut.
Well, they should always be short for safety reason. But if you should let them grow, cut them after they before they become sharp enough to cut. (and for the safety of your pet you should file its nails)
if you use nail scissors you can cut them, but follow the shape of the nails because you don't want to cut it too short! or you could use a nailfile, to shape them.
