∙ 14y agotrees have been around for quiet some time. the way to tell how old a tree is, is to look at the rings that are in the trunk, you can take a hallow drill bit, and drill into the side fo the tree, it does not hurt the tree if you are gental and you do not do it in the same spot over and over again.

∙ 7y agoThat depends on the species of tree: some redwood trees are more than 2000 years old and the bristlecone pine trees (in the photo above) include the oldest living organism at more than 5000 years old. But most common trees cannot live longer than a couple hundred years under the best conditions.
