The only age restrictions for seeing movies in the U.S. are for R and NC-17 movies. If you're under 17, you need a parent or guardian to see an R-rated movie. NC-17 means no one under 17 admitted, even if they have a parent or guardian with them.
There are no age restrictions for G, PG, and PG-13 movies. PG and PG-13 mean parental guidance suggested, and parental guidance strongly suggested, respectively. They do NOT mean parental guidance mandatory.
So, you can see a G, PG, or PG-13 movie alone at whatever age your parents feel comfortable with. Responsible parents don't usually let their 10 year-old kids go to the movies by themselves, anyway.
Well in Movie Theater handbook it depends on the rating of the movie. If the movie is G you can go at age 10 or older by yourself. If it is a pg-13 movie you must be with someone at least 13 or older. Rated R you have to be 17 or older. There is no time that a minor has to leave as long as they are 13.
i think that if your 10 and older u can go to the movies alone with your friends to pg and g movies but u could go to a pg-13 movie alone if your under 13 there's no law/rule against it except for parents kinda ruin fun sometimes lol.........sorry person reading this but all 10 and older girls go through the 'I'm not a kid anymore' stage and there right there not your a pre-teen from ages 10-12!
there really is no age but you might not want to go if your under 10
It depends, if you are 12 you can watch PG and 12A by yourself, 15 if you're 15 and 18 if you're 18. Simple.
You dont have to be a certain age you can go on your own and watch a movie as long as your not 10 and trying to watch a 16 movie. But if your 10 and watching a U or PG then thts fine
I think it is parental discretion. I can remember going to see a movie when I was 8. It was by my house.
It depends on the rating.
