Wilbur Chapman wrote the lyrics to the original hymn One Day. The melody has been reworked by several people, including Jeff Johnson, Michael Bleecker and Mark Hall but the words remain unchanged from those written by Chapman. Michael Bleecker is the Worship Pastor of The Village Church in Flower Mound, Texas. Mark Hall, lead-singer of Casting Crowns, actually came to him and asked if he could use "Glorious Day" on their new album. So Glorious Day was actually written by Bleecker and he used the old hymn "One Day" lyrics.
