The character was created in 1940 however the age of the character himself has varied over the years but typically Robin has been around 12 to 15 in the comics. When Burt Ward & Chris O'Donnel portrayed him, he's in his 20s.
the old series = Adam West and Burt Ward the new series = George Clooney and Chris O'Donnell
Adam West played Batman and Robin was played by Burt Ward .
There is no "Robin Beyond" if that's what you're wondering. Tim Drake (the second Robin from Batman: The Animated Series) appears in Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, but never in costume. Dick Grayson (the first Robin) never appears in the series, although he is mentioned a few times and does have a role in the comic book series.
Several actors have portrayed Robin in various adaptations of Batman. Notably, Burt Ward played Robin in the 1960s "Batman" television series. In more recent adaptations, Chris O'Donnell took on the role in the films "Batman Forever" and "Batman & Robin." Additionally, in animated series, actors like Loren Lester and Scott Menville have voiced the character.
Old Wounds.
Depends on which Robin and which Batman series you're talking about. For an educated guess, I'm go with Batman: The Animated Series and The New Adventures of Batman. In Batman: TAS, Dick Grayson, like in the comics, was the first Robin. The last episode of Dick Grayson as Robin is the NAoB episode "Holiday Knights" In the NAoB, Tim Drake assumes the role of Robin in "Sins of the Father". Eventually he takes on the Role of Batman's new Sidekick
Robin is Batman's adopted son. Batman is not Robin's boss.
Robin follows Batman as he is Batman's sidekick.
George Clooney played the dark knight in "Batman & Robin" (1997) with Chris O'Donnell as Robin. The villains were Poison Ivy (Uma Thurman), Mr. Freeze (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and Bane (Jeep Swenson). The film took Batman nearly to the level of cartoonishness of the old TV series, and was so badly criticized that it caused the end of the first "series" of movies, until the Christian Bale reboot in 2005.
The first Batman movie was released in 1966 and was directed by Burt Ward. It was based on the Batman and Robin television series at the time and featured almost all the same actors as the series.
