Whatever year we're in (2011) minus about 33 years (how old Jesus was when he died). Although Jesus was born in AROUND 0 AD (most historians agree that it was actually a few years later), Christianity would not really be a religion had He not been crucified and Resurrected. Pentecost (when the Holy Spirit ascended to the Apostles) is generally thought to be the "birthday" of the Church.

Well, based on the evidence we are provided with, most believe it is around 6000 yrs. However, there are many other thoughts on how old the world is and being a Christian does not change this
