There was a Henri Pieper Arms company or small plant in Liege Belgium in the late 1880's. This was one of seven gun makers in Liege Belgium that joined forces to make militaryrifles. This group eventually evolved into the famous Company "Fabrique Nationale" or "FN".

Sheridan started in 1945. Later it was purchased by Benjamin air gun company and Later Benjamin was purchased by Crosman air gun company. It is still in production.

Prosper Schlemmer was a gun maker in Liege, Belgium around 1925. I would be interested if i coud have some pictures of your gun to compare to mine. Is it also nicely engraved.
