Does anyone else notice that on the 1950s Superman TV show Clark Kent was sometimes seen by Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen without his glasses on and they never acted as if they recognized he was Superman?
Clark Kent wore the glasses to keep people from being able to easily recognize him as Superman- but the producers for this very old show must not have thought about ordinary people seeing him with them off if they did not give any strange reaction to seeing him without them. That techincally would knock out the whole purpose in him even needing them if people did not figure out he was Superman when he did not have them on as Clark Kent.

Some people do think the old Superman movies with the late Christopher Reeve look campy and outdated for today. Zack Snyder is doing a reboot titled "Man of Steel" which will be featuring Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, and Michael Shannon as General Zod. It will update everything by doing away with Krypton being an ice planet made up of crystals and instead being a futuristic world made up of cities. It also will be a story showing why Clark Kent wants to become a superhero rather than him just randomly doing what he was destined to be.
