Mary of Guise-mother of Mary Queen of Scots- died on the 11th of June 1560.
Mary Queen of Scots.
Mary Queen of Scots was 45 when she died.
Her mother, Marie de Guise ( Mary of Guise) was French. she ( mother) died early in her reign, and for some odd reason Mary Stuart was not permitted to attend her mother"s funeral. Mary, Queen of Scots herself expressed the wish for a (French Burial) which did not occur. Her remains are under an elaborate effigy in Westminster Abbey- I am speaking of Mary, Queen of Scots, not her Mother, who was presumably buried in France.

No, He died.
Mary, Queen of Scots mother was Mary de Guise. She was a member of a prominent French family. She was married to a French Duke and had two children by him. Around this time James V lost his first wife to T.B. He wanted a French wife and asked for Marys hand in marriage, and his Uncle (Henry VIII) also asked her to marry him. Francis I of France permitted the marriage of James and Mary to take place in 1538. They had two sons in 1540 and 41, but they both died in 1541. In 1542 she gave birth to Mary, Queen of Scots who became Queen of Scotland when she was 6 days old.
Mary was beheaded in 1587 thus causing her untimely death
she wasn't guily of anything Elizabeth was protecting her throne because if she (elizabeth) died then Mary queen of Scots would become queen of both England and Scotland..... so Elizabeth 1 beheaded her (Mary queen of Scots)so she could protect her throne.
