How old was Moses when he died?

"So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab [Jordan], according to the Word of the Lord. And He buried him in a valley in the land of Moab... and Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated." (Deut.34:5-6).

Answer Some believe that Moses did not 'taste' of death, but that he was translated and taken up into heaven by God, and that this is what was meant when in Deuteronomy it stated that "He" ["the Lord"] 'buried him' - for later it elaborates that neither was Moses' "eye dimmed, nor his natural force abated." ... and since you and I already have lost elements of "natural force", depending on age and health, how could Moses die a literal death whilst retaining his Natural force?

The Latter-day Saints, in fact, believe that Moses appeared as a translated being to Joseph Smith when He was being given certain "Keys" to restore the old Covenants God had made to ancient Israel back to the earth.

Deuteronomy 34:7 says that Moses was 120 years old when he died.
Round numbers are consistently applied to ages and other durations during the period from the end of the Book of Genesis until the end of the United Monarchy. So many nice round numbers suggests that even if even if Moses was a real, historical person, he did not really live to 120 years.
