There is no scriptural evidence to say how old the earth was at the time of the flood. The term (Day) in the Lords time is said to be 1000 years in our time. This is no basis to lay claim that the earth was so many years old at the time of the flood. No one really knows how old the earth is. Even carbon dating is not sure fire method of giving a satisfactory answer. The word Day is an unknown period of time.

∙ 13y agoGenesis tells us that Noah was 600 years old when the flood came. He was a nice round 500 years old when he became a father, the flood came 100 years later and then he died at a nice round 950 years.
