I'm not sure the question should be profitable but how stressful. You will most likely break alittle over even. There is more cost involved than people think. The liability insurance is costly, you and your staff if you have any will have a constant medical cost with the illness spread by the children, late parents, staff that doesn't show or is not dependable. Also the registration with the local police agency has become more intense due to the sickos of our society and I believe you must contact the local health department for their requirements as well. There are other less stressful and more profitable opportunities available especially if you were thinking of a home based operation. If you do chose to open a daycare I suggest you start small and work your way up as you learn and can hire VERY dependable help, goodluck. Sincerely, Val
I own a very profitable tinting business and profit in the neighborhood of $389,000/year
Only if you also lay brick or stone, bricklayers wages are too high , and builders pay too little to make a profit
The projected sales of a daycare depends on a few things. This largely depends on the number of kids taken care of.
The average yearly salary for someone who owns a daycare center is $48,170. On the high end, salaries can reach $58,190.

Owning an apartment building can be very profitable if you purchase one in the right city and area. Research ideal places to live before buying.
It can be if you are good at it. There is a lack of good body shops around. Many of them around where I live are backlogged for months.

Odd question... if they weren't profitable no one would bother running or owning one. normally they gross profit of a retail nursery business is low, in the region of 5% - obviously determined by labour costs, size, completion and local taxes
indeed the stallionaires parents are wealthy, dad being a highly paid dentist and mother owning three profitable hair salons
A profitable business from home would be to set up a daycare center. Obviously to do this you must have a love for children, complete appropriate childcare and first aid courses, be vetted by the police and have a background check carried out. You must also have a safe, clean and appropriate area in or around your home in which to care for children. Childcare can be quite a profitable business provided that you carry out the business properly.
You don't get any tax benefits for owning a small business--you have to keep records of everything you ever bought, sold, charged tax on, etc. and record it. You have to make sure you are very accurate in reporting this to the IRS--it requires a lot of extra work so it's best to get a tax agent--but owning a business can be very profitable and fun.
The daycare starts a search for a new director.
They are profitable.
