I explained what my life is like - the challenges and the benefits that being on the autism spectrum brings. I told them that I valued their friendship but couldn't always explain it the right way. It helped a lot, and I became better friends with many of them as a result.

∙ 9y agoIf you chose to tell your flatmates that you're Autistic then it's best just to say it straight out like it's no big deal - because it shouldn't be. If the topic comes up just say 'Yeah, well I'm Autistic so...'

Probably, but it has only recently been named as such and clearly defined. Improved: Noone really knows when Aspergers' Syndrome was FIRST thought out, but the first researcher to define it, has since then made the case. You never know, back when the cavemans were around, Aspergers' syndrome could've had some effect.

explain to her privatley why you keep asking her out- or whatever you were doing, and then explain to your friends to the situation. if they just laff and stuff, leave them. they're not worth it. believe me a dude frand had to do that, and i spied on his behalf :)

You should talk to her and explain to her what she is doing to you and if she continues decide if you want to be friends with someone like her.

Just explain to them that, as much as you appreciate their honesty, sometimes their criticism is too much. If they don't listen to you, maybe you should find some other friends.
