If you were studying in ICSE board and study a 1st puc in a state collage(obviously),you won't have an continuation in studies.But if you were studying in CBSE board you would go to 11th where you would have continuation of studies.You wouldn't have to admit yourself if you were going to 11th and 12th in CBSE board.If you were going to 1st puc and 2nd puc from ICSE or even state,you would have to search for a collage and then get admitted there.
