Most sources today believe he was 6 feet 4 inches in height, but some sources differ. For example, in February 1864, at age 55, Lincoln's height was said to be 6' 3¾" (192 cm) in his stocking feet, as measured by Francis Carpenter, the New York State portrait painter, who stayed at the White House for 6 months in 1864 sketching and painting the President. Lincoln was tall as a boy, and some sources say that he was over 6 feet by the age of 16.

Lincoln himself stated in a letter: "If any personal description of me is thought desirable, it may be said, I am, in height, six feet, four inches, nearly."
At six feet four inches, Lincoln was (so far) the tallest US President.
He was exactly 6' 4" tall.
