The development of the microscope enabled cells to be viewed and this allowed for the development of the cell theory. Along with advances in microscopy so came greater understanding of cells, there organelles and cellular processes. Our increased understanding into cellular Biology is due to advances in microscope development. With continued technological advances comes greater understanding.
The invention of the microscope has allowed us to understand a whole new world within our own. We now know of cells, DNA, diseases and how everything is works and how it is made up. Microscopes have opened up many avenues in Biology including microbiology, and genetics. Now that we are able to see how animals and plants are at the molecular level many advances have been made in the study of scince including cloning, most famously known for Dolly the sheep.
cells cannot be seen with the naked eye. we need microscopes to see them because they are so small.
Microscopes were essential for the discovery of cells because, with a few exceptions (e.g. the egg cells of some species are huge), cells are too small to be discernible to the naked eye.
It made bespectacled kids sexy.
In seventeenth century, microscopes were improved.Robert Hooke cut a thin slice of cork and looked at it under the microscope. To Hooke, the cork seemed to be made up of empty little boxes, which he named cells.Matthias Schleiden used a microscope to study plant parts.Rudolph Virchow hypothesized that cells divide and form new cells
His discovery led to this improvement in science. He studied a dead cork [cell] and saw that it had many similar compartments that looked like holding cells, therefore the name Cells came to be. Robert Hooke saw the compartments with a special microscope that he built and invented. This microscope, however, was no where near as strong as the microscopes that we have today in our modern day technological lives. This is pretty much all that I can think of off of the top of my head, so BYE!!!
An optical microscope uses light and one or more lenses to view cells. An optical microscope with two or more lenses is called a compound optical microscope.
Light microscope, Transmission Election microscople, and Scanning Electron microscope
The compound microscope is used to examine cells, bacteria, and other organisms
Because without it we couldn't see cells
The development of the cell theory started when the first microscope was made and the discovery of cells happened. The microscope was a large advancements in technology.
The simple microscope was very important in discovering cells. The compound microscope gave even more information.
The discovery of cells was found by the use of a microscope, the discovery found that all living things are made of cells.
electron microscope
The development of the microscope led scientists to the discovery of new living things called microscope organism. These newly discovered organisms were to small to be seen with the unaided eye.
The invention of a Microscope.
the microscope
Robert Hooke is credited for discovering and naming the cells found in both living and dead organisms. Using the bark of a cork tree, he was the first to see cells under a microscope.
Because the microscope was the first measurement tool that could make objects as small as cells visible. Before that there was no evidence for the existence of cells.

it work so they couls see the cells in different plants or animals
