The sun converts matter into energy in the process of nuclear fusion, which is basically just smashing atoms together to form new, more complex atoms. When two (or more) atoms form into a new atom, the number of sub-atomic molecules in the resulting atom is less of the number of these molecules in the sum of the two previous ones, therefore the amount of matter that is turned into energy is equal to the sum of the number of sub-atomic molecules in the two previous atoms subtracted by the number of sub-atomic molecules in the new atom.

Sorry if you don't understand this, because it's the best I can do.

The sun converts matter into energy in the?

The Sun converts matter into energy in its core. The energy is created by reducing its mass through nuclear fission.

Where does the sun get its energy from and how does it make or get energy?

The nuclear fusion that converts two hydrogen atoms into one Helium atom produces energy. It occurs at the core of the Sun.

Each second the sun converts 600 million tons of matter into what?

Energy.

The sun produces energy from matter in its core through the process of?

fusion

The sun procudes energy from matter in its core through the process of what?

Nuclear fusion.

Where is the sun's energy produced?

The Sun's energy is produced in the Sun's core.

How does sun provides energy?

The Sun produces energy by nuclear fusion. It follows the steps of the proton-proton(P-P) chain, which converts hydrogen to helium. The core of the Sun produces about 99% of heat through fusion.

Converts sun energy into chemical energy?

photosynthesis

What process does the sun produces energy from matter in its core?

Its called fusion, where two nuclei fuse together to create energy.

What does the sun give?

The sun converts mass into energy and releases them.

What happens during the fusion reaction of the suns core?

Nuclear fusion, the source of all the energy so generously radiated by the Sun, does two things: it converts hydrogen into helium (or rather, makes helium nuclei from protons) and it converts mass to energy. ... If the fusion reactions in the core become too weak, a star can and does collapse.
