You have to give something to get something. Give her good grades, she might let you have your piercing. Give her consistent and properly done chores, she might let you have your piercing. If your mom cant be bargained with, leave the issue alone. Pushing and pushing her will only cause her to get irritated at you. If she wont give you consent, wait until you are old enough.

Find out about the aftercare and what you need to do to take care of the piercing. Body Piercing facilities are inspected by the local health protection and inspection office and are licensed by the local city hall business licensing department. Listed in the yellow pages under heading of "Body Piercing" and or "Tattoos". All Body Piercing and Tattoo studios have age limits set by the licensing agency so age limits can vary from town to town and city to city. Prices for piercings can also vary from shop to shop as well as the requirements for parental consent. Your best bet is to call your local city hall business licensing office and ask about age requirements for your area. Then call the local studios listed and ask about shop policies and prices. Once you have all that done then sit down and discuss it with your folks and go over what you have found out, all you parent want you to do is make good decisions once they know you know how to research things and make good plans, maybe they may just let you get it done.

Well, if you know how and you have the tools to do it, yes.but I would have a professional do it, you are not. Although my Mom's Mother pierced my Mom's ears, the belly button of coure is a different story. So, it is your choice if you do your self or not, but I would have a professional do it.

I think you should point out to your mom that ear piercings are more traditional than belly button or tongue piercings and if you managed to keep those from being infected you than can do the same with the ear piercings.

Look that is an issue you need to let your folks work out between them, don't try to get it done behind you Dad's back, you need both of them to agree. You can't get between your folks over issues involving you, let them discuss it and then go from there.

Its actually better to wait to get your navel done. You still have a lot of growing to do. If you get it pierced now, there's a high chance that it'll shift and the placement will be off. if it looks good/centered now, it will probably be crooked or thinned out later on.
