I have a car sickness all the time and these things help
Chewing mint gum
wearing Sea Bands
eat little sugar before hand
stay away from heat
little noise
Hope that helps!
Try Tums or another over-the-counter (OTC) medicine for stomach acid or other GI symptoms, ask the pharmacist to suggest something based on your exact symptoms. This will help if the problem is acid indigestion (or burning sensation in your stomach), or irritation of the stomach and intestines caused by foods, a virus (a common cause of abdominal pain and stomach symptoms), and similar irritations.
If you have other signs, such as a fever, sudden onset of vomiting or diarrhea, blood in your urine, vaginal discharge, blood in your vomit or blood with a BM, bloating, or severe pain, then it could be something caused by a bacterial infection or another serious disorder, and may require prescription medication or rapid intervention. If any of your symptoms are severe, go to the emergency room.
Again, you can get advice from the pharmacist to find out if there is OTC medicine that may help your symptoms or if you should see a health care professional for an examination.
If your ache is lower in your abdomen and intestinal area and is more a cramping pain, and/or if you are constipated, you may need a different type of medicine, so it is important to describe all the problems and sensations you have to the pharmacist as you ask for advice or if they ask for the additional information. They will speak to you in confidence; just ask where you can get confidential counseling by a pharmacist.
Medical professionals and First Responders advise that even though stomach discomfort may seem minor, it can be a "hidden symptom" of something else more serious. Most importantly, never drive yourself or ride with someone else to an Emergency Room if you have severe symptoms. You could be injured or injure someone else if you pass out or are unable to properly drive due to the pain or other serious symptoms. Additionally, if you are not driving, the person driving you will not be able to help you if your symptoms go critical while they drive and they may be overly stressed and unable to function correctly. Call 911 instead of getting there on your own. The ambulance team has the equipment and personnel to save lives, they can start treatment as soon as they get to you, rather than your waiting to get to the hospital before you get any help.
Don't wait to seek help when you have serious symptoms or in an emergency, especially with sudden acute pain, fever, chills, or other symptoms. Appendicitis, which can resemble a mild upset stomach at first, can rapidly worsen from the infection and swell to the point of bursting. No matter how busy you are or what time of day it is, etc. minor symptoms can rapidly get worse, monitor it rather than ignore it (but don't dwell) so you know when it is worsening to get help.
Some suggestions from other Answers.com contributors:
Try to rub your belly for a few minutes and have a peppermint tea drink. Don't eat any foods for a while, as sometimes this can make things worse.
rest for a while, try to drink some boiled water, try a hot water bottle and take some median or tablets if your old enough.
hope this helps
