How to make myself understood?

Well it's hard to be understood if your somewhat different like me. But I've learned to deal with it and you will find friends that do understand you... == Try not to cram too much into one statement. Instead, stop and ask your listener "Am I being clear?" or "Do you understand?" The more you can converse -- talk back and forth -- the more likely you are to spot misunderstandings before things get out of hand. If the problem is pronunciation, working with a tape recorder or digital voice recorder may help.
