its actually code 12 which means that the battery or computer has been disconnected within the last 50 cranks
Things to check. Does it crank? If not,battery, starter, If it dies crank, fuel pressure, spark, check engine light codes.
43 is some sort of engine misfire, or distributor fault... code 12 is that the battery has been disconnected in the last 50 key cycles...

That happens when the trans computer detects a problem and sets a trouble code. You need to have the system checked for codes.
